• Flying Branch: * Mandatorily passed with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. 
  Graduation with a minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized University, OR a 4-year BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized University, OR cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India. 
• Ground Duty (Technical):
  Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}: Passed with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. Must hold a minimum 4-year degree graduation/integrated post-graduation in Engineering/Technology in disciplines like Computer Science, IT, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc., or an M.Sc. in Electronics with a B.Sc. in Physics. 
  Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)}: Passed with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. Must hold a minimum 4-year degree graduation/integrated post-graduation in Engineering/Technology in disciplines like Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Automobile, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, etc.
• Ground Duty (Non-Technical):
  Weapon Systems (WS) Branch: Mandatorily passed with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. Requires a minimum 3-year Graduation degree in any discipline OR a 4-year BE/B.Tech degree. 
  Administration & Logistics: Passed 10+2 and a Graduate Degree (Minimum 3-year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Accounts Branch: Passed 10+2 and Graduation in any of the following streams: B.Com Degree (Min 3 years), BBA/BMS/BBS with specialization in Finance, B.Sc. with specialization in Finance, OR Qualified CA/CMA/CS/CFA.
• Education: Passed 10+2, Graduation in any discipline, and a Post-Graduation degree in any discipline.
• Meteorology: Passed 10+2 and a B.Sc. with Physics and Mathematics OR a 4-year Graduation in Engineering/Technology in specified streams. 

• Mandatorily passed with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
• Graduation with a minimum 3-year degree course in any discipline OR a 4-year BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized University.
• Core Requirement: Must mandatorily hold an NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate acquired within two years commencing from the AFCAT registration date, when calculated backwards. 

• Must have qualified in any of the relevant disciplines of the GATE exam (such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Production, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.).
• Candidates must register with a valid GATE score obtained within three years preceding the date of commencement of the course.
